The signature hero product from the Asees Berri range, I was incredibly excited to try the Miracle Glow Peel, the second of three Asees Berri products I’m testing out after the Vitamin C serum. I’ve used a fair few peels in my time, having a background in the beauty industry, from activated charcoal to CBD.
How Do I Use It?
First of all I’d recommend washing your hands, as you don’t want to touch your face with dirty hands as this can spread bacteria onto the skin and cause blocked pores.
You should then cleanse your face to ensure you’ve removed any dirt or excess sebum from the skin, so you can properly absorb the ingredients from the miracle glow peel. If you live in a big city then your skin will undoubtedly face a large amount of air pollution, which causes havok.
Once you’ve cleansed the skin, place some of the miracle glow peel onto your hands and rub it into your face in a circular motion.
You should start to see flaky bits of the skin after a short period of time. Rinse your face with water and dab it dry with a towel. After this, you need to apply a serum and then a moisturiser. If you want the full list, you can also apply an under eye cream, as well as sun cream if it’s the morning.
Why Use The Miracle Glow Peel?
The peel works to remove dead skin cells from your face, helping you to have clear and clean skin. This will also promote skin radiance and create a natural glow.
This product is very much a 3-in-1 cleanser, exfoliator and peel.
How Often Should I Use This?
They state 1-3 times per week, but based on my skin type, I try not to use an exfoliator more than once per week as I have dry skin. I therefore use it on a Sunday evening.
Why Do They Use Rice Bran Extract?
Rice bran extract works wonders to brighten the skin and evening out your skin tone. A popular skincare ingredient in Japan for centuries, rice bran extract can help to prevent any damage caused by the sun’s UV rays, the main cause of skin ageing.
Rice bran oil is often popular due to its high levels of antioxidants, Vitamin E and omega 9. It can help to improve the blood circulation, as well as minimising those dark circles under the eyes, something I struggle with.
Why Do They Use Seaweed Extract?
Seaweed is like a shopping list of everything your skin craves, from vitamins to minerals. The seaweed will help to keep moisture in the skin, while it also has anti-inflammatory properties. This ingredient will help to provide you with calm, smooth skin.
How Long Will A Pack Last?
The pack is 50ml, while I used approximately 5ml when I used the Miracle Glow Peel. Based on my once per week usage, this means it would last for 10 weeks (2.5 months).
