With some lovely sunny weather forecast and an extra day off work, we think it’s fair to say that the team at Suit Your Look are super excited for the coming August bank holiday! It’s also fair to say that it’s nice to treat yourself to something new in celebration of said bank holiday. So this weekend, I’ve been browsing the pages of ASOS to  see if there’s anything that takes my fancy, and let me tell you, there’s just so much (albeit mostly full priced items, but there’s a fab 70% (up to) clearance that’s certainly worth a browse!).

So whether you’re jetting off, enjoying chilling with family and friends with a BBQ or simply just partying the nights away, have a little look at our favourite bank holiday fashion picks and get ready to enjoy the last party weekend of summer!

ASOS Sleeveless Obi Wrap Top – £30.00

I love this chic black Obi wrap top – it’s lightweight, effortless and looks totally classy. Plus, it’s extremely versatile – wear it by day for afternoon drinks with the girls and a pair of oversized sunglasses, or glam it up by teaming it with some skinny black trousers, heels and a sleek hairdo for a sophisticated evening look.  I’d also suggest wearing some kind of necklace with it – a gold look choker style piece would just be amazing with this stunning piece.

ASOS Satchel Bag with Metal Corners and Pom – £25.00

This stylish grey faux-leather satchel bag is absolutely perfect for sightseeing if you’re heading off for a long weekend. It’s big enough to fit all those essentials in, including a camera! The gold-tone metal trims contrast nicely against the grey for an eye-catching look and there’s even a pocket inside for convenience (I can’t stand bags without pockets!)  The cheeky little pom on the side of the bag adds for an extra element of fun too – all in all, this one is definitely going on the wish list!

This gorgeous swirl hair clip is the perfect item to jazz up your hair in seconds. It’s bold and eye catching and definitely worthwhile purchasing if you’re after a quick and easy look for the day or night. It’s got a beautiful gold-tone finish and securely fastens. Simply twist a large lock of your hair from the front and apply this lovely clip – it will look great and I’m certain you’ll be receiving plenty of compliments with this one!

Vero Moda Stripe Maxi Dress – £12.00

I’m such a sucker for stripes and with this gorgeous striped maxi dress by Vero Moda for just £12, it’s an absolute steal! Made from cotton mix jersey and featuring a scoop neckline, this slim fit dress is extremely flattering and is great for a laid back but glam look. We think this one’s great for soaking up the sun and as it’s such a bargain, it means that there’s more money to splurge on cocktails. Pina Colada anyone?

Warehouse Panelled Lace Dress – £45.50

Beautiful and eye-catching, this vibrant orange panelled lace dress by Warehouse makes for the perfect party dress to wear and wave goodbye to summer. The lace look is simply gorgeous and makes for a bold statement piece for an evening out on the town. The good news is, that this slim fit dress is currently reduced (YAY) from £65 down to £45.50. So if you’re after a standout and sophisticated look that’s not going to break the bank, then we definitely recommend this cheery number!
