Youngblood Mineral Primer is currently my favourite Primer. It’s oh-so-soft to apply and glides on like silk. iS Clinical Youth Eye Complex is an incredible product for reducing lines from around the eyes. It contains proteins, peptides and growth factors, and provides antioxidant protection.
When I first used this cream I was surprised at how well it hydrates and diminishes puffiness and dark circles almost instantly! It is expensive, but includes a variety of well-formulated ingredients and is suitable for all skin types.
The iS Clinical Youth Eye Complex also works long-term to increase collagen and elastin synthesis, and has a lot of good publicity and feedback online.
When applying the cream, ensure to use a tiny amount otherwise it can sting (speaking from personal experience)!

A couple of weeks ago, I treated myself to a facial; it was pure bliss and extremely relaxing. However, the take home message at the end of the treatment was that my skin was severely dehydrated and felt ‘crepe like’. In all honesty, I wasn’t really aware of this. I knew it was a little dry, but severely dehydrated – really?! I was certain that I drank a good amount of water and moisturised daily – although maybe not enough on reflection. Of course, there are other factors that can cause dry skin, such as medication and diet.
When I heard about Medik8 B5 Skin Rehydration Serum, I was more than willing to give this one a whirl. After cleansing, I applied six drops onto my skin which gobbled up the serum in about ten seconds. I was shocked – my beauty therapist was definitely right! I’ve been using this product now for a few days and do genuinely feel that make-up was easier to apply onto my skin. Not quite baby skin soft, but it is most definitely smoother than before and certainly injects some ‘oomph’ into my skin!
