I’m delighted to say I got the opportunity to try out a number of amazing items by this incredible American company, launched by Henry David Lee back in 1889. They have a number of great items in their range, while I got to try a hoodie, sweatshirt, jeans and a couple of chino’s, so keep reading to find out more.
Workwear Hoodie in Ecru
This incredible hoodie was my favourite from the entire range, fitting comfortably, not too tight around the neck and in a beautiful cream colour (technically ecru is grayish yellow and cream).
They also have an ‘inky blue’ colour, but I’d definitely go for Ecru as it looks stunning, while they have a cheaper priced option in a ‘stone’ colour, with the sizes varying from Xs all the way up to XXL, mine being a medium.
Made from 100% cotton, it’s soft to the touch and works with all types of looks, matching up well with denim jeans.

Brooklyn Straight Jeans in Blue Black
These were worn in the photo alongside the Workwear Hoodie, offering a nice dark contrast to the lighter colours.
The straight leg I love (never been a fan of skinny jeans), while they offer a decent amount of space on the thighs, something I used to really need back in the squat and deadlift days (even if they’re a distant memory now).
Made from 90% cotton, along with 8% elastomultiester and 2% elastane, these are highly durable and instantly feel such a good quality to the touch. The orange stitching really stands out to me, making them eye-catching while being casual.
They use a crystal clear dying technique which uses less water and chemicals than traditional methods, which is really nice to see.

Relaxed Workwear Chino in Mercantile Green
The chino’s also work amazingly with the workwear hoodie, work in mercentile green but also available in dark muted gray, city beige and glazed ginger (the glazed ginger really looks interesting, definitely have a check of those).
I’m a big fan of chino’s, offering something professional to wear in the workplace without overdoing it and still looking fine for weekend wear. The sizes vary from 28 up to 38, myself wearing 34 in the shots.
Green chinos are a standout choice in men’s fashion, they offer a refreshing twist on classic neutrals, infusing a dose of understated elegance and versatility into any wardrobe. The unique color conveys a sense of style and confidence without being overly assertive.

101 Rider Sweatshirt in Sharp Grey Mele
If you prefer the brand name more visible then the logo on this sweatshirt certainly stands out more, with the ‘Lee 101’ in two shades of blue and much bigger than the hoodie.
This grey sweatshirt feels sturdy on the outside and soft on the inside, almost ‘pillowy’, making it surprisingly warm and cosy to wear.
Exuding both durability and luxury, this premium sweatshirt boasts an ultra high quality fabric, providing an upscale appeal, with rich grey tones and the contrasting blue chest logo.

Relaxed Workwear Chinos in Dark Muted Gray
Merging a sleek, modern cut with a nod to traditional workwear, these chinos are crafted from durable Oxford canvas in a versatile dark muted gray. This shade effortlessly adapts to both casual and smart looks.
Designed with subtle tonal stitching and adorned with the woven Workwear logo, these chinos embody understated elegance. The lightweight Oxford fabric, incorporating 20% recycled cotton, ensures both resilience and eco-conscious style.
They’re definitely consistent with the pricing, being the fifth item at £75, while anything you order will then be over the free shipping minimum of £50.
