If you’ve followed this blog for a while, then you’ll know I’m a fan of Cotton Traders and they have some great options in their ‘new-in’ section worth taking a look at.
Founded by rugby legends Fran Cotton and Steve Smith, Cotton Traders has grown from a small ad in a Sunday paper to an internationally recognised brand synonymous with quality, comfort, and timeless British style.
Today, I’m talking about three fantastic pieces from Cotton Traders that combine an elegant style with unbeatable comfort. From a luxurious jumper to cosy loungewear, there’s something here for every occasion. Let’s get into it.
Cotton Cable Crew Neck Jumper
The first piece I tried is the Cotton Cable Crew Neck Jumper in “rich gold.” If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know I love injecting colour into my wardrobe, and this mustard-hued jumper ticks every box.
It feels as good as it looks, crafted from pure cotton for comfort and breathability, while the classic cable knit design and crew neck give it a sophisticated edge.
I wore this jumper for a trip to Ivy Asia, a setting that matched its lavish aesthetic perfectly. It’s one of those versatile jumpers that works equally well over jeans for a casual day out or paired with chinos for something smarter. Priced at £35, it’s a brilliant and cosy jumper that brings both style and substance to the table.
If you prefer, you can opt for the jumper to be a half-zip or button through cardigan, while keeping the consistent style, but I felt it looked better as a crew neck jumper without the zip or buttons.
Fleece Dressing Gown
Next up is the Fleece Dressing Gown in navy blue, and let me just say, this is ultimate cosiness in clothing form. The weather is still really chilly at the moment, so a cosy dressing gown is ideal, I just need to remember to take it off before work zooms!
Made from luxuriously soft teddy fleece, it’s perfect for chilly Sunday mornings or evenings when all you want is to wrap yourself in warmth and maybe a cheeky hot chocolate.
The shawl collar and deep patch pockets combine practicality with plush comfort, while details like the satin modesty tie and self-fabric belt elevate the overall design.
I’ve been layering it over a t-shirt and pyjama bottoms most days, but it would also work wonderfully over your day-clothes to add some warmth while WFH. At 45.5 inches in length, it offers full coverage and warmth without feeling too heavy. For £34, this dressing gown feels like a small luxury you’ll reach for again and again.
Side Detail Jogging Bottoms
Finally, I want to talk about the ‘Side Detail Jog Pants’ in navy blue. These tracksuits are proof that loungewear doesn’t have to compromise on style. Made from a cotton-rich brushed-back jersey fabric, they’re wonderfully soft on the inside, while the contrast side panel taping adds a modern, sporty touch.
They were really soft to the touch, while also being very flexible which was ideal when doing squats and deadlifts.
The elasticated waistband and adjustable drawcord offer a customisable fit, while the three practical pockets, two at the hip and one at the back, add functionality. Priced at £30, these joggers are a reliable, and premium quality addition to any wardrobe.
